No problem to give you feedback. Basically in a nut shell the low baller didn’t even contact me back when I had some questions on his quote.
The middle man was very interested in the project but he was a franchise company and I had a feeling he was a change order guy.
You were my best candidate but I have no-where near your number in my budget.
Where we stand now is I haven’t done anything. The house looks exactly the same as the day you saw it. I am actually between projects right now and cash flow has hit the skids.
I am probably going to buy the materials and start doing it myself with friends and it will take forever.
I will be straight with you that I felt you were by far the best candidate for my project. A straight shooter in a world filled with day laborers. I know you would have given me the product I was looking for but I guess I wasn’t expecting the numbers to come in as high as they did as I have never priced something like that before. You quoted me on the job’s requirements and an accurate quote was a large number for me to swallow given my overall budget.
It comes down to it that good work costs a good amount of money and I know this. I had no idea that much but I assumed in the area of 7K-9K from researching on the internet. When you get a professional like yourself who really knows the trade I could tell your number was fair to do a good job and give me as close to a perfect product as you could.
Case and point is I am probably going to attempt to do it myself as my budget has been shot since work started to slow for me. I would love to keep you in mind for some help but I know I can’t afford the full job soup to nuts.
Thank You,
